6. WingBook and App-Related Information
When you use WingBook or related tools, we may collect information needed to operate your account and provide booking, billing, family management, document review, calendar integration, and communication features.
This may include login information, account activity, booking history, child profiles, family contacts, payment status, uploaded documents, device or browser information, timestamps, and actions taken in the app.
WingBook may use technical information to maintain security, troubleshoot issues, improve features, and support account functionality.
If WingBook offers mobile features such as push notifications, camera upload, document upload, or other device-specific functionality, your device may ask for permission before WingBook accesses those features. You can manage device permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work properly if the applicable permissions are disabled.
Google Calendar Integration
WingBook offers an optional integration with Google Calendar (NestBookCalendarSync). If you choose to connect your Google Calendar account, we request limited permissions necessary to provide the calendar integration features you select.
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. You can use WingBook without connecting a Google Calendar account.
Google Account Information
When you connect Google Calendar, WingBook requests access to your basic Google OpenID identity information and Google account email address.
We use this information to:
Associate the connected Google account with your WingBook account.
Identify which Google account is connected.
Display the connected account to you.
Support reconnecting your Google account.
Support switching to a different Google account.
WingBook does not use this authorization to access your Gmail messages, Google Contacts, Google Drive files, Google Docs, or unrelated Google services.
Dedicated The Nest Bookings Calendar
If you enable booking synchronization with Google Calendar, WingBook may create and manage a dedicated Google Calendar named The Nest Bookings.
This calendar is created by WingBook and is used to synchronize your WingBook bookings with Google Calendar.
The permissions granted for this dedicated calendar allow WingBook to:
Create the The Nest Bookings calendar.
Create booking events within that calendar.
Update booking events when corresponding WingBook bookings change.
Delete booking events when corresponding WingBook bookings are canceled or removed.
Update the dedicated calendar's name or settings as necessary to maintain the integration.
Remove the dedicated calendar if you specifically request its removal when disconnecting the integration.
WingBook uses these permissions for the dedicated booking calendar created by the application.
WingBook does not use this permission to create, edit, or delete events on your other existing Google Calendars.
Calendar List Access
WingBook requests read-only access to the list of Google Calendars associated with or subscribed to by your connected Google account.
This access allows WingBook to show you which calendars are available so that you can choose which calendars, if any, you want to display within WingBook.
WingBook does not use this permission to:
Subscribe you to additional calendars.
Unsubscribe you from calendars.
Change calendar sharing permissions.
Change access permissions for your calendars.
Modify the settings of your existing Google Calendars.
Read-Only Access to Selected Google Calendar Events
If you choose to display one or more existing Google Calendars within WingBook, WingBook requests read-only access to events on the calendars you select.
We use this information to:
Display events from your selected Google Calendars alongside your WingBook bookings.
Keep displayed events synchronized when the corresponding Google Calendar events change.
Display event information that may include the event title, date, time, description, location, and Google Calendar link.
Google Calendar events imported from calendars you select are displayed only to you within WingBook and are read-only within the application.
Imported Google Calendar events do not affect childcare booking availability in WingBook. They do not create, reserve, block, or otherwise change available childcare booking times.
WingBook does not create, edit, delete, share, or otherwise modify events on the existing Google Calendars that you select for display.
Information and Google Permissions We Do Not Access
The Google Calendar integration does not request or use permissions to:
Read, compose, or send Gmail messages.
Access your Google Contacts.
Access Google Drive, Google Docs, or other Google files or documents.
View or change calendar sharing permissions.
Manage subscriptions to Google Calendars.
Modify the settings of your existing Google Calendars.
View or change Google Calendar sharing settings.
Use Google Calendar free/busy information as a source of WingBook childcare booking availability.
Modify events on your existing Google Calendars.
Access calendars or events beyond those necessary to provide the Google Calendar features you choose to enable.
Access unrelated Google services.
How Google Calendar Information Is Used
Google account and Google Calendar information obtained through the integration is used only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and support the Google Calendar functionality you choose to enable.
For example, we may process Google Calendar information to display selected events, synchronize those events when they change, create or update WingBook booking events in the dedicated The Nest Bookings calendar, troubleshoot integration problems, reconnect authorized accounts, and maintain the security and reliability of the integration.
We do not use Google Calendar event information for advertising, retargeting, determining creditworthiness, or unrelated marketing purposes.
We do not sell Google user data.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and Retention of Google Calendar Information
We may store information necessary to maintain your Google Calendar connection, such as identifiers associated with the connected Google account, authorization information, selected calendar identifiers, synchronization information, and information necessary to display or synchronize the calendar features you have enabled.
We retain this information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the integration, maintain security and operational records, comply with legal requirements, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.
Google Calendar event information obtained for display within WingBook may be cached or otherwise temporarily processed as necessary to provide synchronization and application functionality.
When the information is no longer required for the integration, it may be deleted or otherwise handled in accordance with our retention, security, backup, and legal obligations.
Sharing of Google Calendar Information
We do not sell Google Calendar information.
We may provide limited access to Google Calendar information to service providers that process information on our behalf when necessary to host, secure, maintain, or operate WingBook and its Google Calendar integration.
Such service providers are authorized to process information only as necessary to provide services to us and are subject to applicable confidentiality, security, privacy, and contractual requirements.
We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or safety of The Nest Family Center, WingBook, our users, or others.
Disconnecting Google Calendar
You may disconnect your Google Calendar integration at any time through WingBook.
Disconnecting the integration stops WingBook from continuing to retrieve or synchronize Google Calendar information using the disconnected account, subject to information already retained as permitted under this Privacy Policy.
Where WingBook provides the option, you may also specifically request removal of the dedicated The Nest Bookings calendar created by WingBook.
Disconnecting Google Calendar does not automatically delete your WingBook account, childcare bookings, or other information maintained separately from the Google Calendar integration.
You may also be able to manage or revoke WingBook's access to your Google account through your Google account permissions.
7. AI-Assisted Document Processing and Automation
The Nest Family Center and WingBook may use AI-assisted or automated tools to support administrative tasks.
These tools may help us:
Read or extract information from immunization records.
Identify missing medical or enrollment information.
Review uploaded forms.
Summarize submitted documents.
Support customer service workflows.
Improve booking and operational tools.
AI-assisted tools are used to support human review and administrative efficiency. They do not replace human decision-making for child safety, enrollment approval, medical review, or licensing compliance.
We do not intentionally use child records or sensitive family information to train public AI models. When we use AI service providers, we use them as service providers to process information on our behalf and subject to applicable contractual, security, and privacy requirements.
8. Payments
We use third-party payment processors, such as Stripe, to process payments, store payment methods, manage invoices, and support recurring billing.
Payment processors may collect and process payment information, including card or bank account details, billing information, transaction history, fraud prevention information, and payment status.
The Nest Family Center does not directly store full credit card numbers or full bank account numbers.
Your use of payment services may also be governed by the payment processor's own terms and privacy policy.

We may use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics or similar services.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you block cookies, some website or app features may not work properly.
Where required by law, we will honor applicable opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for supported browsers and applicable processing activities.
10. Marketing Communications
We may use contact information to send updates, enrollment information, tour follow-ups, reminders, offers, newsletters, family communications, or marketing messages.
You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us.
Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send non-marketing communications, such as billing notices, enrollment updates, booking confirmations, policy updates, health and safety notices, emergency communications, or account-related messages.
Information obtained from your Google Calendar integration is not used to send targeted marketing communications based on the contents of your calendar events.
11. How We Share Information

Additional limitations applicable specifically to information received through Google APIs are described in the Google Calendar Integration portion of Section 6.
12. Legal, Licensing, and Safety Disclosures
Because we are a licensed child care facility, we may be required to maintain and disclose certain records to licensing authorities, government agencies, courts, auditors, insurers, or other authorized parties.
We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:
Comply with applicable law or licensing rules.
Respond to legal process.

Different types of information may be kept for different periods depending on the purpose and applicable legal or licensing requirements.
For example, child care records, payment records, tax records, licensing records, employment records, incident records, and legal records may need to be retained even after a family's active enrollment ends.
Information associated specifically with optional third-party integrations may be retained for as long as needed to provide the integration and for a reasonable period afterward where necessary for security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, backups, or other legitimate operational purposes.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or securely retain it in accordance with our legal, operational, security, and backup practices.
14. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
These safeguards may include access controls, authentication, vendor controls, encrypted transmission where appropriate, secure payment processing, limited staff access, and internal procedures for handling sensitive child and family records.
For third-party integrations, we also take reasonable measures to limit access to the permissions and information necessary to provide the selected functionality.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed without authorization.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Access personal information we maintain about you.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Request deletion of personal information.
Obtain a copy of personal information you provided.
Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or certain profiling where applicable.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request where required by law.
These rights may be limited by applicable law, licensing rules, safety obligations, record retention requirements, payment obligations, legal claims, or the rights and safety of others.
For child information, requests must generally come from a parent, legal guardian, or authorized person with appropriate authority.

18. Third-Party Links, Integrations, and Services
Our website, WingBook, and communications may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, payment processors, calendar providers, social media pages, or other services.
When you voluntarily connect a third-party account or service, your use of that service may also be governed by the third party's privacy policy and terms.
